ANY FEELINGS

is a concept for a book that I came up with in 2006.  During my senior year in college my computer’s hard drive crashed leaving me with none of the projects I worked on in the past year.  I obviously learned an important lesson that year which was Back Up, Back Up, Back Up! Everything!!  I struggled to find things to show at my senior showcase before coming up with the idea for “Any Feelings”.  Once I thought it up the concept was simple.  Collect and gather any and everything I was proud of and compile it into one book.  It was sort of my portfolio from the past year in book form.  I made pages from recent work, scanned them in at a high resolution, printed them out, hand made hard back covers and used the Japanese-Stab-Binding technique to stitch the pages together.  Thus was born “Any Feelings”.  The title comes from a “Cat Power” song called “The Greatest” which I was listening to a lot then.
